EKO HIDROELASTIK
TWO-COMPONENT FLEXIBLE WATERPROOFING
CHARACTERISTICS: EKO HIDROELASTIK is an elastic 2K mass made on the basis of cement enhanced with water-repellent, waterproof and alkali-resistant polymers, enriched with special additives for waterproofing.
SCOPE OF USE: It is used to protect buildings from the appearance of capillary moisture, penetration of water under pressure. It is recommended for waterproofing kitchens, bathrooms, basements, swimming pools, terraces, i.e. all surfaces that are exposed to atmospheric influences and flexural strength.
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION: The surface must be carryable, clean and free of loosely-bound parts, dust, water-soluble salts, grease and other contaminants.
Concrete surfaces, cement screeds and mortar must be at least 28 days old.
Large cavities and damaged items should be previously filled out with EKOFIX W25 adhesive for ceramic tiles or with patching mortar.
The content of one 5kg bag (component A) is gradually added to 2kg of liquid (component B) with constant stirring until a homogeneous mass suitable for brush application is obtained. Thus prepared mass is ready for installation and must be used within 1 hour. The minimum thickness of the single layer is 0.7mm, and the maximum 2mm.
It is possible to walk on the isolated surface after 3 days. Ceramic tiles can be laid from 3 to 5 days, depending on the thickness of the layer and climatic conditions.
WORKING TEMPERATURE: The optimum working temperature is between + 10 ° C and + 30 ° C.
CONSUMPTION: ≈1.8kg / m², depending on the roughness and absorption of the surfaces
SHELF LIFE AND STORAGE: 12 months. Store in sealed and undamaged packaging, in a dry and ventilated room. Temperature from + 5 ° C to + 25 ° C, protected from direct sunlight.
PACKAGING: 7 And 14kg
